Welcome to Novista Web. We are a full-service web design and development company. Our founders have been guiding web strategy, product development and e-marketing since 1995. Prior to that they have held senior management and technology positions in large companies.

Our Founders

Novista Web was founded by Theresa Martin and Michael Kopel. They have a combined experience of 40+ years in technology, product development and business management.

About Michael
Michael Kopel has over twenty five years of experience in technology consulting for the banking, finance and retail foods industries. His background in process management, web design and web marketing allows him to take a broad approach to online business development and then, be able to focus of the specifics of bringing a business plan to fruition. As an entrepreneur Michael has started and consulted for both physical and online retailer, specializing in web design and web marketing. He also has extensive experience in training and support.

Michael also owns and runs an online e-commerce site, Omnivos Therapeutics, which he founded in 2005. He brings his years of technology experience and practical practice of running an e-commerce business to Novista Web’s clients.

About Theresa
Theresa is a former Executive Vice President of CitiStreet, one of the largest benefits administrators in the US. She worked for eighteen years in various senior management positions at First Union Bank (now Wachovia), State Street Bank and CitiStreet.

From 1996 to 2004, Theresa was the Chief Internet Strategist and head of product development for State Street Bank’s Retirement Division which then became CitiStreet in 2001. During this time, she was responsible for bringing the web to all of CitiStreet’s millions of 401(k), health & welfare and defined benefits customers.

In 2004 Theresa left CitiStreet after the web delivery was fully integrated into the business model and it had been upgraded to its second major evolution. She spent some time pursuing other interests such as real estate development and personal awareness. She also managed and organized speaking engagements and journeys to Mexico for best-selling author, Miguel Ruiz.

In 2005 Theresa began to help individuals with their web and small business strategies. This grew organically until she recognized that it had become a business. Novista Web is the formal launch of this organically grown business.

Most recently Theresa joined Genex as SVP of Client Services. She continues to support Novista Web as time allows.
