Featured Project
Our current Featured Project is Clinical Charts. This project was very interesting to us because it combined several different elements: strategy, design and our first e-commerce implementation using Interspire’s shopping cart.
The Client
Clinical Charts is an online store that sells anatomical models, anatomical charts and other medical supplies such as x-ray machines. It is owned and operated by Dr Jeffrey Kintish, a chiropractor in Beverly, MA.
Requirements
Clinical Charts had expanded to carry more than 2,000 items. Their existing cart did not support multiple levels of categories, one-page checkout or SEO friendly urls. We needed to find a solution that would organize the products to more easily allow visitors to find what they wanted. We also wanted to streamline checkout and make the store more SEO friendly to allow a decrease in expenditure for advertising.
Our Goal
Create a more attractive site that would be easier to navigate and that offered better online shopping features.
The Solution
Novista Web is now partnering with Interspire for robust e-commerce solutions. We recommended that Clinical Charts convert to this state of the art e-commerce solution allowing for easy visual customization, one-page checkout and SEO friendly page links. We redesigned the look of the site, created new categorization of the products, used flyout navigation to make the categories easily visible without clicking, and made the conversion from the old cart to the new. In the process, we cleaned up product data and images.

The Extras
Dr Kintish was very busy with his chiropractic practice so we needed to make the transition as easy as possible, requiring minimal effort on his part. We helped him through the process of recategorizing his products and then performed the entire store conversion. This involved exporting all of his products, cleaning up the data and importing the products onto the new platform.
