great website design

Experience Matters

We bring years of technology, web and business experience to your project.

Our Company

We love what we do and it shows. It is very exciting to partner with our clients to create beautiful websites and technology solutions to make their lives and businesses work better.

Our Work

We have highlighted some of our recent work here to show the range of projects that we work on. These include straight strategy projects for large companies, e-commerce solutions for online selling, blog integrations and custom themes for sole proprietors and full e-solutions for charitable organizations.

Our Clients

Zorro Chocolates

Zorro Chocolates is a new company that is selling top-quality, gourmet chocolate bars. The challenge was to create a site that reflected the rich, luxurious flavors of these artisan-made bars. The bars come in five exotic flavors but all look the same. We suggested the use of custom photography which would show the bars with the innovative flavor ingredients. We shot the bars over several days and created banners using the flavor themes. We also brought in rotating images for the home page, created images for the shop online section, and a lightbox image gallery. The result: the site entices the visitor to want to try these bars for themselves.

Clinical Charts

Clinical Charts is an online store that sells anatomical charts, anatomical models and a variety of medical supplies. They were using a shopping cart that had many limitations and were not sure if they should pay for upgrades to the existing cart or switch to a new cart. They hired us to evaluate their situation and to then implement our recommendations. We suggested that they change their cart, their site navigation and their look. See more details: this is our

James Gilroy House Wright

James Gilroy House Wright is a local builder working in the North Shore area of Massachusetts. They had created a website that did not work exactly as planned so they came to us to help them get their site up and running. They were looking for a quick, low-cost solution. They had all of their content written and all of their pictures already loaded to their web server.

Our solution: Use a premium theme that we had purchased. This eliminated any design work which kept the budget very low. Since the content was written, we just needed to rearrange the content, set up WordPress, select the appropriate plug-ins and train them on how to maintain their content. The result: a beautiful site that was up and running in a couple of days. The cost was minimal and they can easily maintain their own content.

The extras: We gave The House Wright team some ideas for creating useful content for their audience using the built-in blog feature and also helped them to submit their site to Google.

Omnivos.com

Omnivos Therapeutics was founded in 2005. We chose the cart and set up all of the product and category offerings. We also optimized the images on the site. In 2006 we worked with iMarksWeb on a redesign that created a look that better supported the tone of the products. We have also worked on Search Engine Optimization to improve page rankings allowing Omnivos to reduce their Adwords budget.

Toltec Spirit

Our friend Gary wanted to update the look of his existing site and create a place where he could publish more of his writings about personal awareness. His desire was to have a very clean site that did not distract from the content. The solutions we suggested were to integrate all of the content into a blog using WordPress and bring in some imagery and interesting typography to create visual interest while not distracting from the content. Gary is also very focused on optimizing his sites for search engines. We suggested the use of a Headspace2, a plugin for WordPress that gives tremendous flexibility to creating titles and meta data for each page.

BarbaraEmrys.com

We began working with Barbara in 2005. She is a teacher, writer and lecturer. Barbara knew that she needed a website but was not quite sure why or what it should do. We worked with Barbara to develop a strategy for her initial site, managed the project, created the site architecture and integrated what she was doing with an e-marketing package. We recently redesigned the home page and carried the new design colors into the interior pages. The site has a content management system (cms), however, at Barbara’s request, we continue to maintain the updates to her content.

LifeMasteryPrograms.com

We have been working with Life Mastery Programs since 2005. We started by guiding them through the strategy phase. We then worked with their designer on site architecture, built the first release of their site, and maintained their site content. The site was transferred onto a content management system platform. We built out a blog and completed the transition so that LMP personnel can now maintain their content. We are the first people that LMP calls for technology support.

More Projects

  • Clear Life Creations:We designed and built the entire site for CLC. We also included a flash banner for their home page as they wanted more life to this page. This site uses a drop-down menu coded using style sheets rather than extensive java-script — helpful for search engine optimization and page load size.
  • Pathway to Happiness: We integrated a WordPress Blog into the existing design of the website.
  • Nasrin Safai - Waves of Bliss: We converted existing design to a Content Management System for easier maintenance and updates. We also integrated and extended their WordPress Blog and added a PayPal shopping cart for books and other items.
  • Miguel Ruiz Apprenticeship Program: We created a remote-learning program using teleconferencing, newsletters and a custom website.
